Getting ready for Acco festival

So, Acco festival is almost here!
Been working hard getting ready. loads of rehearsals and shopping for some needed stuff.
I realized that my stomach is also really excited, and its making me know that... hmm hmm

I used to hate this fright that comes before the show, but now i'm just excited of whats coming, So here is a photo of some of the things i bought.

Performing in a festival is always very exciting. It's not the same as a show at a bar or a club, because when I perform at a club/bar I'm there only for the few minutes that I'm on the stage. When the show is over so does the magic. But on a festival it goes on for a few days. Not only I usually perform 2-3 times a day, and I stay in character the whole time, and this is fun.

I remember going with Captain Howdy to Spain to perform at a medieval festival and the Captain was acting as a Fakir and I was his assistant.

That's The Captain and me right here at the festival:

Captain Howdy as A Fakir

Me as the Fakir's assistant

We stayed in character the whole festival, and it was so much fun getting to know my own character for a few days, and now I think that it is a really good drama exercise, to walk around in one of your stage characters for a few days, do the regular stuff and see how it works for the character.

Well, I'm off to to dye my hair. I'll keep you posted.

So what the hell is Shakshuka???

Shakshuka is the BEST breakfast ever!
It is very nutritious and very tasty and easy to make:

Cut one onion and fry it in a large frying pan in 2 spoons olive oil.
you can add garlic if you like it (we always put loads of garlic :) )

After the onion has goldend, If you want to add meat, now is the time. We usually add pork sausages, but any sausages will do.

When the meat is half done add cut vegetables like green peppers, red peppers and mushrooms.
Fry them for a while, about 10 min. and than add 5 chopped scalded tomatoes, or 1 can of chopped tomatoes.

Simmer for 15 min. and than add as many eggs as you want. Let it boil for 10 more min. or until the egg white is ready to eat.

Best to eat with bread or a bun.

Bon Appetit!
